I have a sports specific goal (ie. marathon). Can you train me for it?
Absolutely! I love training for specific goals. I have trained clients for the California AIDS Ride,
ballroom dance competition at the Gay Games and nation-wide touring as an active musician.
Can you come to my house or gym to train me?
No, sorry. I train out of my studio in the SOMA district of San Francisco.
Can you recommend activities to do outside of the personal training sessions?
Yes indeed...I recommend walking or swimming above anything else. I would put biking in here too,
but the streets of San Francisco can be dangerous.
I want to loose fifty pounds in three months. Can you help me?
This question is a bit of an exaggeration because nobody has ever asked for those exact numbers. I
would like to include a few thoughts on dieting and nutrition though. I have a vast amount of
knowledge regarding nutrition, but I choose to not focus on dieting. I am always happy to answer
questions regarding nutrition should I know the answers. I do not guarantee weight loss and I do not
promote dieting or exercising yourself silly to loose weight. I believe in balance...and leafy
greens...even though personally they're not always my first choice.
Can you put together a weekly training plan for me?
Yes I can! However, this is a separate service. Please check the fee structure page for more
information.
There are many good gyms and trainers in San Francisco. Why should I choose you over a boxing
gym or another personal trainer?
Okay, I have to fess up because I've never actually been asked this question directly. The answer,
however, is important. It is essential to jive with your personal trainer and the environment in which
you are training. You should do your research if you are going to spend your time and money to
employ the services of a Personal Trainer. If you're interested in checking out my studio (and me)
before starting, I'm always happy to schedule a free, half hour meeting before starting together.
Why are there photos of the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk on your website?
It is truly a place to have fun and let go. I loved it as a kid and I continue to love it as an adult.
