Pivot Sportswear originates from two ideas: common boxing terminology
and the idea of something "pivotal".
In boxing, the word "pivot" refers to footwork. You can pivot your foot
(like doing the twist) to get your hip to turn over. Getting the hip to turn
over allows the power of the entire body to get behind a punch. Essentially,
the pivot initiates the power.
Second, the word "pivotal" is often used in conjunction to a change in one's
life...a pivotal time or experience.
When you add the two ideas together, you get a "powerful change".
Taking the time to consider one's physical well-being - and to put that
consideration into action - often requires change. Sometimes the change is
challenging. Sometimes it's as easy as pie. Either way, it's always
powerful.
